The Software Engineer in ERP Product pillar plays a pivotal role in the development and enhancement of our expense management software.This role is central to developing an innovative platform that empowers account admins, tax administrators, and ERP administrators to efficiently manage, review, adjust, and synchronize expense data for accounting purposes. The ERP product pillar is central to our mission, offering a streamlined platform for managing and integrating financial data with customer systems, whether through direct entry, API connections, or other innovative means.
Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain a scalable, secure, and efficient eng solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams(Travel & Expense), including data scientists, analysts, product managers, and software engineers, to design, develop, and implement fraud prevention solutions.
Conduct research and keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and standards in fraud prevention.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to other engineers on the team
Develop and Enhance Integration Features: Design, develop, and maintain features that enable the smooth integration of expense data into various accounting and ERP systems. This includes creating APIs, direct interfaces, and other mechanisms for data exchange.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to understand user requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Ensure Data Integrity and Security: Implement measures to ensure the integrity and security of financial data throughout the transfer and integration process.
Customization and Configuration Support: Provide solutions for customization and configuration to meet specific customer needs, including adapting the integration process to fit various ERP systems.
Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in ERP systems, accounting software, and integration methodologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive and effective.
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong Background in Software Development: Proficiency in programming languages relevant to web and backend development, such as Java, Python. Experience with RESTful APIs and web services is crucial.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to data integration and synchronization.
Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and interact with customers.
Attention to Detail: Precision in handling financial data and ensuring accurate integration into various systems.
What We're Looking For:

4-6 years or equivalent quality experience, preferably in startup environments
Experience with large-scale distributed systems serving developers and/or end users
Ability to be a innovative problem solver that can turn ambiguous problem spaces into clear solutions, and comfort with new technology and thinking outside the box to develop and implement solutions
Ability to influence without authority, working with technical and cross-functional teams who do not report into this role
In-depth experience with Java, Spring Boot and AWS
Nice to have - Experience with ERP and Accounting Systems: Knowledge of common ERP and accounting systems, their data structures, and how they manage financial transactions.

The posted pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the compensation for this position and is subject to change based on business need. To determine a successful candidate's starting pay, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, an evaluation of the candidate's skills and experience, market demands, and internal parity.

For roles with on-target-earnings (OTE), the pay range includes both base salary and target incentive compensation. Target incentive compensation for some roles may include a ramping draw period. Compensation is higher for those who exceed targets. Candidates may receive more information from the recruiter.

$78,750-$145,000 USD
