As a Senior Software Engineer at Bezel, you'll be working alongside other passionate individuals to apply cutting-edge solutions in developing modern and polished applications. As a senior member of the engineering team, you'll not only have ownership of core architecture and design decisions, but you'll also be integral in defining the engineering culture at the company as we scale.
What You'll Do:Build out core APIs, services, and frameworks that power Bezel productsIdentify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks as Bezel products scaleDevelop and maintain data pipelines and workflows integral to product functionality and daily operationsManage projects and solve problems of significant scope, cutting across organizational boundariesCollaborate with key stakeholders across the organization such as product, operations, and marketing leadsYou Should Apply If You:Have a strong technical background, including experience building backend services in Java and querying data with SQLHave experience working with cloud computing platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Have experience working in ecommerce, particularly two-sided marketplacesTake pride in designing, building, and maintaining APIs, services, and systems at scaleEnjoy tackling hard problems and seeing their solutions through to the endThrive in a collaborative environment involving multiple stakeholdersUphold best practices in engineering, security, and designHave a passion for watches and fine craftsmanshipOur StackBackend: Java + JAX-RS, Ruby + Rails, MySQL, and ElasticsearchFrontend: TypeScript + Next.js / Angular, Swift + UIKitInfrastructure: Docker and Jetty / NGINX on Google Cloud
