Senior Software Engineer - Market Maker

One of the world's leading market makers who have been operating since the 80s are currently recruiting for senior software engineers to build fully automated trading systems for their futures business. This firm are an industry household name that are known for pushing the boundaries of speed and computational scale. Their current strategy is to modernize its infrastructure to maintain their competitive edge, and need exceptional engineering talent to do so.
The software engineering hires will join newly established teams that will focusing on research and execution systems. You will work with quant researchers to build infrastructure to execute trades quickly as possible and optimize strategies.
Ideal Profile: The Market Maker is looking for senior level engineers who have experience with low level programming in any language. Ideally you would have worked on projects that have directly impacted the bottom line of the firm. Finance experience is not a must!
Requirements: +4 years of professional experience at a trading firm or elite tech companyStrong academic historyExpertise in writing software in C++, C#, C, and/or PythonPersonable skills so you can communicate with quant researchersPassion for complex low level systems and continuous improvementThe firm seeking the very best talent and the compensation on offer will reflect this. They pay top of the market and candidates can expect total compensation of $500,000-$1million depending on experience.
