We're seeking a future team member for the role ofSenior Vice President, OPS Control Manager to join theStrategic Testing Group. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA – Hybrid.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Act as the North America Control Testing Lead. Manage multiple teams that are responsible for control testing.
Participate in the preparation of the annual Control Testing Plan.
Schedule, allocate, and execute the efficient and effective completion of control testing in accordance with the annual Control Testing Plan.
Ensure Control Testing activities are properly performed, documented, and aligned with internal standards in order to support the results of the assessments made in supporting test works papers.
Act as liaison between Control Managers, Operational Risk, and BNY businesses and build cooperative relationships to facilitate the management and resolution of differences.
Responsible for the achievement of goals and objectives of multiple teams and the talent management and supervision of Control professionals
Recruit, direct, motivate and develop both people managers and individual staff, maximizing their contributions, their professional growth, and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
Lead assigned ad-hoc Control Testing related projects
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required. Advanced degree preferred. Business or finance degree preferred.
7-10 years of total work experience with 1-3 years of management experience preferred.
Financial services or Audit background preferred.
Good analytical skills capable of identifying, collating and distilling relevant information preferred.
Focused attitude to work with the ability to constantly meet deadlines while ensuring attention to detail, and high level of accuracy preferred.
Superior interpersonal and communication, and negotiation skills preferred.
