We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President to join our Innovations team. This role is located in New York, NY - and is a hybrid position.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Performs and provides guidance and technical expertise for the most complex user experience activities that include user research and testing, interactive design, and visual design.
Performs and leads user research, usability testing, surveys, interviews, work studies, and heuristic evaluations. Reviews documentation of research findings presented to product and development teams.
Reviews new and modified user personals. Actively participate and may provide guidance in the creation of concepts, information architecture, user interface designs, wireframes, storyboards, prototypes, and specifications to meet project schedules.
Leads the implementation of visual styles that support platform branding to increase user effectiveness. Interprets user feedback and insights to improve the user experience.
Serves as reviewer of usability activities and artifacts to ensure software applications meet customer expectations for use.
Provides UX expertise to the product definition and evaluation process utilizing multiple sources of information (field work, interviews, internet, intranet, market data/literature).
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
Bachelors degree in business or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
Advanced degree preferred
7-10 years of related experience preferred.
Experience in the securities or financial services industry preferred..

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $100,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
