You will be trusted to:
- Provision, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers.
- Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, or similar hypervisors.
- Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to automate and optimize processes.
- Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of all systems, configurations, and processes.
- Collaborate with teams to support infrastructure needs and troubleshoot issues.
You qualify with:
- Nine or more years of experience in system configuration and/or operation, or other IT related field.
- A degree(s) in computer science, information technology or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
You are a great fit with:
- Experience in VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, or other Hypervisor software/hardware
- Experience in Power Shell, Python, or other scripting environment code
- Experience in NFS or iSCSI
- Experience in Windows Server or Linux Server Administration
