Our teams are responsible for providing service on Securitas Technology products at customer sites. The position provides customer contact for all post-installation problems on security systems and equipment, as well as, special project work, when needed.Responsibilities. Experience in fire & security system installation.2. Test and repair alarm systems already in place3. Perform inspections to ensure alarms are installed according to code4. Respond to emergency service calls5. Install equipment for fire alarm systems with the guidance of building plans and electrical layouts6. Mount devices at appropriate locations, performing all necessary tasks, such as drilling holes for cabling and accessing locations such as crawlspaces or attics to ensure optimal wiring layouts7. Install all wiring to connect system components, complying with all applicable safety standards and with customer's concerns or preferences8. Inspect and test systems to ensure all components are performing well and comply with safety requirements9. Identify and repair malfunctions in system components or wiring, including identifying and installing replacement parts as necessary10. Compose and submit documentation and reports for each installation or repair visit, complying with company's standard operating procedureCompetencies·· Test backup batteries, keypad programming, sirens, and all security features in order to ensure proper functioning, and to diagnose malfunctions.maintain, or repair security systems, alarm devices, and related equipment, Preferred – 2 years of intermediate experience with cable installing, electrical work, access control installation, intrusion detection, and/or video surveillance installation2. Strong customer service orientation3. NICET level II certification preferred (requires prior experience or training)4. Knowledge of NFPA standards a plus (including 70 and 72)5. Energetic, self-starter with a positive attitudemaintain, and repair security systems, Fire Alarm Systems and Communications Systems.Troubleshoot and diagnose security system problems on Fire Alarm Systems and Communications Systems 2+ years of experience in security systems installation, maintenance, and repair.Strong understanding of security systems.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Support complete system diagnostics and troubleshooting including field devices and their connections.Test and troubleshoot installed systems to ensure proper functionality.
