Expected salary range of $130,500 to $145,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
Simulator Coordinator for the Crane Clean Energy Center in Middletown, PA (near Harrisburg). PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION Plans, coordinates, and supervises activities associated with the development and implementation of Constellation's Nuclear Site Simulator training programs. Coordinates simulator maintenance and testing activities to ensure performance meets line management and regulatory expectations.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Provides functional direction for the planning and execution of the development, implementation, and evaluation of performance-based training programs in accordance with prescribed department procedures, regulations and other requirements.Assures that the site simulator, related training facilities, equipment, and materials adhere to required regulatory and industry standards.Performs all administrative and managerial duties associated with supervision of the assigned functions.Oversees and verifies that assigned training programs are current and they incorporate relevant information such as that gained from INPO and Constellation's Significant Operating Experience Reports, NRC Circulars, plant design change and back-fit information, nuclear unit procedure changes/revisions, new regulations, and training effectiveness reports.Administers contracts for simulator projects including needs assessment, bid specification preparation, bid evaluation, and managing procured services.Develops strategies, forecasts, and plans to meet long-range training needs and directs and approves the scheduling, conduct, and evaluation of assigned training programs.Supports station and fleet in the areas of business initiatives, project management, refuel outage support, EP duties, and special projects.
