Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Walmart.
As Software Engineer III at Walmart, you will be responsible for the development of various back-end applications that support Walmart's digital customers.

We are seeking an individual who will be responsible to establish robust data pipelines and services. We are looking for a highly motivated, resourceful, team-oriented individual to drive the data engineering process. Our ideal candidate is an exceptionally talented Software engineer with an outstanding track record of working with very large data sets and building robust data pipelines and APIs. You will be working with structured/unstructured data sets, building large scale data processing platforms, implementing world class data governance and operational controls, solving complex performance challenges.
What you'll do: Design, build, test and deploy cutting edge solutions at scale, impacting millions of customers worldwide.Develop interactive, user-friendly applications using the latest frameworks which are open source and proprietary.Design, develop, implement, and tune distributed data processing pipelines that process large volume of data; focusing on scalability, low-latency, and fault-tolerance in every system built.Engage with Product Management and Business to drive the agenda, set your priorities and deliver awesome product features to keep platform ahead of market scenarios.Develop backend services using API interfaces.Influence cross functional architecture in sprint planning.Evangelise an extremely high standard of code quality, system reliability, and performance.What you'll bring: You're an amazing Java/J2EE developer with 3+ years of professional experience.You have hands on experience with DB Stack using SQL Server and Cosmos DB or similar NoSQL DB.You have hands on experience of building micro services using Spring Boot framework.You have experience in building scalable/highly available distributed systems in the production environment.You have experience in test driven development.You have experience using standard tools to tune, profile, and debug Java Applications.You have experience implementing a wide range of testing techniques.You have hands-on experience implementing CI/CD.You have a mastery of Agile.You have worked in a DEVOPS Environment.You participate in on call support rotation as and when needed.Knowledge or experience with Python.Experience using Kubernetes in Azure Cloud.Experience with refactoring/redesigning/rewriting existing applications is a plus.Implementing Message/Event Brokers.Immigration sponsorship is not available in this role.
