About this Opportunity:
Life-Assist is looking for a highly motivated Software Engineering Team Lead with three overarching responsibilities: Team Management, (light) DevOps, and Software Development. If you are detail-oriented, an innovative thinker, a level-headed problem solver, and someone who loves seeing a project through to completion, this could be the role for you. This is an ideal role for a senior developer looking to grow into a functional management position.
As the team lead, the role will provide oversight and guidance to the software development team, which includes both internal and contracted staff.
The DevOps piece of the team lead's duties includes source code management, development environment management, and production deployment. The team lead will be responsible for ensuring release prep procedures are followed by the development team and will be in control of changes to production.
Finally, this is a functional software development role. The team lead is expected to contribute to sprints as a senior software developer, and as such should be acquainted with full stack development and the complete software development lifecycle.
Who Are You?
Associate or bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and related experience of 10+ years Certificates of continued education in information technology related fields Demonstrable SQL knowledge, senior level object-oriented C#/.NET coding ability, and front-end coding experience. Exposure to WinForms Familiarity with Git/Azure DevOps and release management Comfortable managing, communicating, and collaborating in a team environment. Understand tasks in context. How does your solution fit with/affect the whole system? Self-driven problem solver who is motivated to achieve goals and enhances results Ability to multi-task and handle many projects at once Excellent organizational skills and sense of urgency What We Offer:
