Minimum 1+ years special education experience required. Soliant is seeking a passionate and qualified Special Education Teacher (SETS) for a full-time, on-site position in New York. The SETS teacher will provide individualized instruction and support to students with special needs, helping them thrive academically in both resource and inclusive classroom settings. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement specialized instructional plans to meet students' Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals. Collaborate with general education teachers to provide support in both resource and inclusion settings. Conduct assessments, track progress, and make necessary modifications to ensure student success. Maintain detailed and accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and school staff. Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the development of strategies and accommodations. Requirements: Valid Special Education Teacher certification in New York. Previous experience in a SETS (Special Education Teacher Support Services) role preferred. Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
