Responsible for safe and effective operation of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment as well as specialized imaging and technical equipment used for procedures.
Is a patient/family educator, advocate and liaison.
Responsibilities: Knowledge to perform specialized technical skills in vascular, non-vascular, and interventional procedures.
Participates in the diagnosis and treatment of invasive procedures.
Assist the radiologist and nursing team for interventional procedures.
Maintains a high-level of competency as it relates to the operation of all radiographic equipment, including C-arm, O-arm, Hybrid Equipment Rooms, Power Injector and Interventional suites.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology is required NYDOH License is required ARRT Certification is required BLS/CPR Certification by American Heart Association is required One (1) or more years of experience as a practicing OR x-ray technologist in a high volume setting is preferred Interventional radiology experience is preferred Salary Range USD $45.68 - USD $60.11 /Hr.
