Sports Official

The Hutto Family YMCA is hiring Youth Sports Officials. This is a part-time position. We are offering $250 bonus for new staff! Must possess some knowledge of rules and policies in various sports such as basketball, volleyball, soccer, football and baseball.Must be available to work Saturdays from 8:00am to 6:00pm, as well as some week days from 4:30pm to 9pm.Experience as a sports referee preferred but not required.Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal history background check, sex offender registry check and reference checks. Job requirements include: Must be able to work weeknights as well as Saturdays from 8am to 6pmMust possess some knowledge of rules and policies in various sports such as basketball, baseball, football, soccer and volleyballHave a general knowledge of fitness and wellnessHave strong communication and organizational skillsHave a neat appearance and be well-groomedBe CPR/AED and First Aid certified or willing to be certified within first 30 days of employmentBe willing to uphold the YMCA's core values of caring, honesty, responsibility respect, and faith Pay Rate: $13.00 to $18.00/hour
