Sr Accountant needed for our top manufacturing client, located in Brookfield, CT. Immediate opening ! Direct Hire position Apply Now for Immediate consideration Position Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant will include: Establishes and maintains cost accounting standards for Cost Roll, Inventory -Physical/Cycle count, overhead rates etc
Prepares and analyzes all financial reports to comply with internal and external reporting requirements
Maintains records for Fixed Assets (F/A software, balancing of F/S subledger to ERP system, tag all assets, depreciation calculations
Monthly end and Year-end close
Maintain accounting systems for the company, book of accounts and related materials, handle day-to-day financial matters
Supports all levels of the corporation in budget preparation by providing relevant information as needed
Review and process all Sales Tax Reports/payments
Review and prepare Duty Drawback details/submissions

Staff Accountant skills and experience needed : 
Bachelors' Degree in Accounting or Business - required
3-5 years accounting experience – manufacturing preferred
Exp with ERP Systems
MS Word, Excel, Outlook
Excellent communications skills – verbal and written
Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
Ability to multi-task and prioritize

Pay rate – 80k – 100k
