About the role: At VivSoft, capture management professionals are crucial in driving our growth and success in the federal market. As a capture manager, you'll be able to lead high-impact business development activities, identifying and securing new opportunities within US Air Force (Primary) and other DoD agencies. You'll leverage our established presence and robust portfolio of SBIRs, OTAs, BPAs and IDIQs specific to Air Force and DoD to build and expand relationships with key customers, ensuring alignment with their innovation priorities and roadmaps. \n What You Will Do:VivSoft is seeking a resource with consulting mindset to lead capture and business development-related activities. The position will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and capturing programs/projects within US Air Force and other DoD agencies Leverage our SBIRs, OTAs, limited award BPAs and IDIQs to further build and execute pipeline (https://www.vivsoft.io/contract-vehicles) Leverage Our existing portfolio within Air Force Software Factories, HNCO and ABMS) to develop and execute pipeline Responsible for identification, opportunity qualification and analysis; convincing bid strategy, opportunity positioning activities; teaming strategy; competitive analysis; and proposal strategy, preparation, and submittal Excellent track record shaping opportunities using Market Research (MR)/Request for Information (RFI) and performing necessary business development activities to position between MR/RFI to RFP Develop customer intimacy and continuously engineer meaningful meetings between different customers and our engineering team Ability to identify and communicate the customer challenge to get to "that's right" before getting to yes Build customer relationships based on transparency and commitment to outcomes Be up to date on mission knowledge, innovation priorities, and roadmap and align/position VivSoft for opportunities Being able to put your thoughts on paper during a market research or RFI or RFP phase is important in certain areas Work with mission owners to position VivSoft's unique capabilities to solve cutting-edge problems Work with Solution Architects to develop winning value propositions Requirements: Excellent Cradle to Grave BD track record in the Air Force and DoD Market Application and/or infrastructure engineering background that enables you to drive a technical conversation with customer stakeholders at various levels (CIO, Architects, Developers) Must have a strong mission knowledge, innovation priorities, and roadmap and align/position VivSoft capabilities for opportunities Requires highly disciplined approach to using our CRM to show opportunity maturity progress to the opportunity team and management Proven access to and relationships within customer ecosystems to include customers, partners, open-source products, and other key product vendors Excellent consulting skills are essential Accountable, self-starter, and excellent time management skills; direct supervision skills Ability to influence, negotiate and close
