Farnsworth Group is seeking a Sr. Civil Engineer in our Ft. Collins, CO office. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to join our growing Team. Qualified candidates will be responsible for providing our private owners/developers and municipal clients with cost effective, sustainable, and attractive developments.
Job Activities: Plan, design and manage a variety of private owner/developer driven civil engineering land development and municipal projectsCollaborate with other Farnsworth Group disciplinesCommunicate with clients regarding current and future projectsOrganize and complete projects from inception and through entitlements and construction completionAttend and facilitate client stakeholder meetingsDelegate design tasks to junior level engineers and designersMentor and train student-interns and entry level engineersPrepare project proposals, budgets, and schedulesAttend city planning & zoning meetings and city council meetingsSpecific Requirements include: BS in Civil Engineering6 - 12 years of civil engineering experienceProfessional Engineer (PE) Licensed in ColoradoExperience working on private owner/developer projects and municipal projectsAbility to effectively manage clients and design teamsAbility to effectively coordinate and work with multi-discipline teamsStrong team player that can manage projects and multi-task design workAutoCAD and Civil 3D experience requiredWater, wastewater, and stormwater modeling a plusAbout Farnsworth Group: Farnsworth Group is an award winning, employee-owned engineering, architecture, and surveying firm with more than 500 employees located in nearly 30 offices nationwide. Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
