A unique opportunity to become part of a highly engaged and motivated team here at Maersk. The Direct Transport Sales team plays a critical role to sell transport solutions to maximize vessel utilization and profit.

The Client Manager will drive growth of Maersk Logistics Services delivering value through adoption of Maersk Logistics Services (L&S products) with our clients.

Also, it will build knowledge and understanding of Maersk products, industry, and trade/commodity (agriculture) knowledge to position Maersk as the customer's advisor of choice.

Position open to remote, US local based.
Key Responsibilities: Manage assigned customer portfolio to secure business in line with strategic objectives for both transportation and logistics services.Proactively engage into new customer relationships, identify high potential customers, and develop new business.Ensure opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling are identified based on a deep understanding of the customer's business model, commodity, and pain points.Learn and share key drivers for the given commodity segment (agriculture) to aid internal and external selling.Required Experience & Skills: A Bachelor's degree (ideally) with at least 3 years' work experience in a commercial role within the containerized freight industry.The ideal candidate must possess enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. They must also be self-starters willing to be resourceful on their own within the organization. We also value great people skills, ambition, and integrity. The ideal candidate must have excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills (both written and oral). In addition, you must have organizational and time management skills including multi-tasking, prioritizing, and the ability to plan work activities efficiently to meet deadlines.Results driven and capable of working under pressure while keeping sight of the bigger picture and End to End business processes.Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry sales related tools.Must be willing to collaborate and work with many other teams within the organization including but not limited to Pricing, Marketing, Customer Experience, Finance, Logistics Service Product owners and Maersk offices globally.Company Benefits: MedicalDentalVision401k + Company MatchEmployee Assistance ProgramPaid Time OffFlexible Work Schedules (when possible)And more!Pay Range: $90,000 - $110,000 plus Sales Incentive Plan*
*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location.
