This Leader provides guidance and oversight for the team that completes the analysis, programming, development, and configuration of information technology (IT) systems software. This role involves driving technical decisions, managing end-to-end delivery of strategic applications, owning the application portfolio including troubleshooting and being capable of hands-on coding if called on. Strong leadership skills and a proven track record of delivering high quality, scalable solutions are essential. This job coaches team members on the best methods of software development and operational goal setting. Working with the leadership team, this role shapes the culture and future technical direction of the Product Technology team.

This high visibility role will lead Nuveen's multi-year engineering effort to build out our Separately Managed Accounts (SMA) platform, including building a global team, refining internal SMA processes, building investment capabilities for differentiation, implementing a digital advisor experience, etc. This influential leader is a hands-on technologist who will lead the team forward in building technology solutions ground-up with a roll-up their sleeves, delivery focused mindset.
