To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications: Data Governance: Establish and maintain data governance frameworks to ensure data integrity and security.
Define and enforce data classification and handling procedures.
Collaborate with data stewards to ensure data protection measures are implemented across the organization.
Privacy by Design: Advocate for and implement privacy by design principles in all projects and initiatives.
Work with product development teams to ensure data protection is considered at every stage of the development lifecycle.
Conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs) for new products and services.
Knowledge, Experience and Education: Bachelors degree in Law, Information Security, Data Privacy, or a related field.
5 years of experience in data protection, privacy, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of global data protection laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
Proficiency in data protection tools and technologies.
Strong understanding of data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and data breach response.
Experience with data protection risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
