We are seeking a proven HR professional to join our dynamic team as a Sr. Human Resources Generalist. This position supports the organization by implementing and administering human resources programs and policies. As a Sr. Human Resources Generalist, you will take the reins of compliance, benefits, leave of absences, and all administrative projects. \n Primary responsibilitiesRecruitment & Onboarding; Oversee the applicant tracking system by partnering with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, create requisitions, post jobs, and monitor expenditures. Own administration of preboarding requirements including offer generation and successful completion of background checks. Deliver new hire orientation program by conducting trainings and ensuring completion of necessary documentation.Benefits Administration: Oversee administration of benefits programs, ensuring smooth processes from enrollment to life event changes. Serve as subject matter expert for benefit inquiries, providing exceptional service and communication. Conduct regular audits of benefit plans and procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy. Co-lead open enrollment partnering on communication, employee information sessions, enrollment documentation and reconciliation audits. Leave Management Administration: Administer employee full cycle leaves serving as subject matter expert on policies and compliance in accordance with state and federal laws. Field and answer leave related questions about local, state, and federal regulations, as well as Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) related inquires. Oversee tracking, documentation and communication with employees and managers. Determine leave eligibility based on program parameters. Generate reports on leave status, usage, action items and other metrics providing information to involved parties. Coordinate with the Payroll team to ensure pay and use of PTO is reflective of the actual leave schedule and collaborate on the true-up and reconciliation process when the employee returns to work. Responsible for ongoing development of leave management and compliance knowledge in an effort to remain current with changes in regulations.HR Administration: Provide coaching and guidance to employees and managers to maximize talent and support professional growth that aligns with company culture. Support succession planning and talent management to ensure the organization's long-term success. Administer and manage employee corrective action processes, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, labor laws, and best practices to address performance, behavior, or attendance issues effectively and equitably. Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Provides expertise and mentorship to HR Coordinator. Maintain process documentation and create SOPs regarding all HR administrative duties. Assist in reviewing and optimizing HR processes including implementing new systems and technologies. Other duties as assigned. Education and experienceMinimum of 7 years of HR experience with a strong focus on benefits, leave of absences and project management.Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline preferred.Certification in HR (such as PHR or SHRM) preferred.
