Summary
At Freeman we believe in perfectly planned and exciting events. We are looking for an experienced and innovative Sr. Manager, Events & Brand Experience with the drive and enthusiasm to manage the execution of experiential events. The environment is fast-paced, energetic, and highly collaborative.
As Sr. Manager, Events & Brand Experience, you will be tasked with building brand equity through event experiences and promoting Freeman's culture and values. The ideal candidate has a deep passion for events and will have a proven track record of building and executing experiences and events of all sizes. This role will partner closely with stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Communications, and Operations to bring activations to life and achieve organizational goals. You will have primary responsibility over our corporate exhibit programs, activations, and sponsorship fulfillment for Freeman's conference portfolio but will support our internal Freeman high-touch experiences. The senior manager will report to the Director, Events & Brand Experience.
This position will support our Marketing team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office 2-3 days per week. This position is based out of Dallas, TX.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and execute experiential event strategies aligned with company objectives, ensuring each event delivers on key messaging and brand goals.

Manage and execute all aspects of our corporate exhibit programs, activations and sponsorships, including budget management, contracts, vendor relationships, logistics, communication, room blocks, T&E, onsite coordination, and reporting.

Oversees Event Manager position to develop their knowledge and skills, while ensuring they're meeting team deadlines, budgets and event expectations.

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to conceptualize and implement innovate experiences that captivate audiences and drive engagement.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative, and sales, to ensure seamless integration of event initiatives and alignment with overall business objectives.

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the success of events providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Prepare executive-level event briefs, debriefs, and financial reporting on data-driven results.

Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in experiential events, incorporating innovative approaches into event strategies.

Education & Experience
Minimum 5 years Event Management experience.

Minimum 2 years direct-report management experience.

Bachelor's degree.

Proven track record for successfully planning and executing events from conception to completion.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.

Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional event experiences.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) preferred.
Travel Requirements
Travel 25% to 50%
