Amazon Japan's March On Demand is looking for a talented Program Manager to support the growth of its rapidly expanding business.
March On Demand is a print-on-demand service for apparel products and mobile accessories, and the business is currently growing rapidly with the launch of the service in Japan following the US and Europe in 2020.
Amazon Japan's March on demand Operations team is seeking a Program Manager to lead various operational developments, introduce new features, and launch new services to further improve customer convenience.
This position will serve as a bridge between the customer, production center, sales side, finance, overseas engineering team, and overseas R&D team. This position is responsible for establishing quality standards, standardizing and optimizing processes, auditing, improving productivity and quality, and driving service expansion.
*This position has the potential for flexible work schedules that may require travel to and from the site.
Key Responsibilities
Defining, executing, coordinating, communicating, and delivering against a project roadmap to effectively launch the print-on-demand production center facility in JapanOverseeing on-site installation and qualification of all JP equipmentRegularly collaborating with US and EU Amazon Operations Support, Supply Chain, and R&D teams to ensure JP Amazon standards are consistent with those of the US and EU Amazon businessesDeveloping and driving daily operations metrics to meet or exceed productivity, efficiency, and cost reduction goalsDefining and implementing manufacturing quality standardsAuditing quality standards complianceManaging Author/Customer complaintsDriving warehouse management system improvementsProactively helping hire the Amazon production center leadership team that includes the site leader, production managers, area managers, and other production center team members.
