About the Position

We are seeking skilled Project Schedulers to join our team supporting a range of projects.
In these roles, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling activities across various initiatives.
These hands-on positions provides the opportunity to directly influence project outcomes.
By analyzing, monitoring, and maintaining project progress, preparing and evaluating reports, and developing solutions, you'll contribute to the successful delivery of our transportation projects.


This posting is for future, long-term, onsite Scheduler positions located in the greater Los Angeles, CA area or potentially other areas around the state.


Responsibilities Review and analyze contractor prepared CPM schedules in Primavera P6, baseline schedules, using the schedule specifications as a basis of writing a summary report recommending approval, approved-as-noted, or revise-and-resubmit, or reject disposition; similarly with the review and analysis of contractually required monthly update schedules.
Analyze schedules for opportunities to reduce schedule critical path duration and recover delays by creating and analyzing what-if schedules.
Analyze contractor delay claims through the application of forensic scheduling principles for merit, quantity, concurrent delays, excusable versus inexcusable delays, compensable versus non-compensable delays, et cetera.
Apply Earned Value Management techniques to schedules for purposes of reporting key performance indicators (KPIs).
Apply schedule risk management techniques for risk management purposes.
Prepare and present schedule analysis presentations.
Skills and Attributes Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Possess excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills.
Possess excellent collaboration skills.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, business administration or related 10+ years' experience with CPM construction scheduling utilizing Oracle Primavera P6.
Forensic CPM scheduling skills regarding analyzing delay claims.
Experience creating and presenting technical presentations in group settings and meetings.
Experience in risk analysis techniques for CPM schedules such as Monte Carlo analysis a plus.
Working proficiency in English.
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering or business.
10+ years of public works infrastructure experience in transportation and highways.
15+ years of CPM scheduling experience.
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
Schedule risk analysis experience (e.g., Monte Carlo Analysis, etc.)
Expert level forensic scheduling skills, including the use of forensic scheduling software.
Experience with Microsoft Power BI, or other dashboard KPI reporting software.
Compensation Details

The salary range listed for this role is $156k-$260k annually.
The final salary offered is based on multiple factors and is thoughtfully aligned with each candidate's level of experience, breadth of skills, total education achieved, certifications/licenses that have been obtained, etc.
