The Team The Advisor team's focus is the design and build of products and services focused on empowering Financial Advisors to provide personalized solutions that better serve their investment clients.

Employ your Java, SQL, and other development skills to build exciting new features for our SaaS product that attract and excite Financial Advisors.
About You An experienced Java developer who works well in a collaborative environment.Strong understanding of the SDLC including peer review.Comfortable working in an Agile/Waterfall hybrid environment.Awareness of the requirements of building software in a highly regulated industry such as financial services, banking, or wealth management.Genuine interest in the industry with clear methods for staying informed of shifts, and new technologies.Ideal Experience Java, Web Services (RESTful endpoints), Spring, and Hibernate are technologies you regularly develop products in.Proficiency in debugging complex systems, utilizing advanced tools and methodologies to quickly identify and resolve issues.You have a deep understanding of relational databases (SQL, Data Modeling) and their integration into complex enterprise products.
Furthermore, you excel in optimization strategies to enhance overall system performance.You're experienced developing with NoSQL, ideally Cassandra/CQL, and scalable distributed systems.You're dedicated to Test-Driven Development (TDD), demonstrated through a history of seamlessly integrating this approach to guarantee resiliency and good code quality.A keen eye for metrics instrumentation, ensuring that appropriate metrics are identified, implemented, and monitored throughout the design and development of features and projects to guarantee performance, reliability, and scalability.Location While MyVest is in a hybrid (office and work-from-home) work model, this role is required to be in the office frequently.
MyVest will fill this position in the San Francisco Bay Area only.Compensation and Benefits Base salary for this role will be between $180,000 to $199,000.
Placement in this range depends upon a variety of factors including prior relevant experience and skill set.The range listed above is just one component of MyVest's total compensation package for employees.
