About the Role
As a Senior Subcontract Manager (SCM), you'll be at the forefront of supporting the IAS Business Area. Your primary focus will encompass overseeing the entire lifecycle of subcontracts, from inception and strategy development to execution and closure. Seamless coordination across various departments such as Contracts, Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Operations, Planning, and Logistics is essential for achieving organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of subcontracts, including sourcing, negotiation, award, and closeout.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), offering guidance, mentoring, and problem-solving expertise to peers.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement supply chain strategies aligned with program needs.
- Ensure compliance with legal, governmental, and company policies and standards.
- Monitor and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to Supply Chain leadership for enhanced visibility and goal alignment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in government federal acquisition regulations (FAR) requirements.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience with various subcontract types.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with cost/price analysis.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
Preferred Skills
- In-depth experience within the Aerospace and Defense (A&D) industry.
- Expertise in subcontracting strategies and contract types.
- Advanced understanding of program management and financial concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and resolve conflicts within the organization.
Location and Benefits
This role offers a hybrid schedule or 100% remote work in most states. The company provides a competitive salary range of $95,298.10 - $131,034.89, along with annual incentive pay based on performance. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) with 150% match up to 6%, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, and more.
