The role of
Staff Accountant
primarily be over Alacrity's Third-Party Administrator (TPA) business. This will be an onsite, hands-on role and while it has a lot of operational accounting in its focus, looking for someone who can take on more and lead the charge as this area becomes more of a profit center with its own financial reporting.
Primary Duties include but are not limited to:

• Prepares daily cash deposits, enters cash receipts, updates account receivable ledger, research and processes invoice payments, research and processes refunds, charge backs and collections
• Investigates discrepancies and reports information to leadership for further direction
• Supports a defined group of accounts for total payment resolution and or other accounting functions
• Performs functions such as reviewing, organizing and prioritizing payments, coding and paying invoices; managing journal entries; processing and monitoring expense reports; balancing multiple general ledger accounts; and performing monthly bank reconciliations
• Basic financial skills including, but not limited to, knowledge of commonly used collections practices and procedures

Requirements
Skills & Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree (BS) in accounting.
• At least two years of experience as a Staff Accountant, or similar role.
• Associate degree may be substituted for bachelor's with additional years of relevant experience.

Starting salary range:
• $49,395 - $67,710
