Choptank Community Health System (CCHS) Staff Dentists responsibilities include comprehensive patient management including direct patient care, all necessary documentation, review of labs and diagnostic tests, and referral of specialty services as needed.
Dentists are responsible for appropriate coding services, attending CCHS meetings, and completing other administrative duties as assigned, such as completion of staff evaluations.

Duties/Responsibilities: Maintains and contributes to the highest quality standards of his/her profession and Choptank Community Health System, Inc.
Demonstrates an ability and desire to see patients when needed and by volume of care contributes to the maximization of delivery effort to the most patients.
Completes documentation in a timely, legible, accurate and thorough manner.
Participates in CCHS meetings and administrative process to provide the necessary input into CCHS activities.
Regular, reliable attendance is a requirement of this job.

Physical setting: Chestertown Or Denton
Competent and proficient in providing oral surgery, pediatric restorative, and preventive services. Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and service appropriate to the age of the residents served. Direct patient care responsibilities include comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of children and young adults including specialty training in utilization of minor sedation i.e.
: N2O.
Education and Experience: DDS or DMD from accredited dental school OR BDS degree internationally confirmed and additional residency in US to acquire MD licensure. Licensed to practice dentistry in Maryland. BLS and ACLS DEA Two years of clinical experience or completion of post graduate dental training program (i.e., GPR, AEGD)
