We are looking for a Staff Level Frontend Engineer to make a profound impact in the development of high-impact, well-performing user experiences for our various products. You'll use modern front-end technologies to deliver performant, modular, and maintainable front-end code. The primary technologies we use daily include React, TypeScript, and Storybook. Responsibilities:Build and expand our data analysis products and data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js)Collaborate with frontend engineers to deliver user-facing featuresActively improve product features for some of the largest companies in the worldWrite unit, integration, and load tests as necessaryActively participate in code reviewsWrite and review technical proposalsImprove engineering standards, tooling, and processesQualifications: Experience with client-side web developmentFamiliarity with computer science fundamentals such as data structures, distributed systems, concurrency, and threadingA commitment to working in a communicative and collaborative environmentYou write code that can be easily understood by others, with an eye towards maintainabilityYou hold yourself and others to a high bar when working with production systemsYou value high code quality, automated testing, and other engineering best practicesPay Target pay ranges based on Geographic Zones for Level 5:
Zone 1: San Francisco/Bay Area or New York City Metropolitan Area (if not Bay area specific role): $200,000 - $235,000Zone 2: Boston, DC, Irvine, LA, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa, Seattle: $180,000 - $212,000Zone 3: All other US locations: $170,000 - $200,000*Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), health, vision, and dental insurance, and mental health benefits in addition to salary.
