Store Designer -Contract length: 6 months
-Location: Marlborough, MA (*Hybrid onsite Tues & Weds)
-Hours: fulltime, Monday-Friday
-Set pay rate: $37/hr
Our client, a large ecommerce and retail brand is seeking a Store Designer to join their team in Marlborough, MA!
This will be a six month contract position, working hybrid onsite Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
As the Store Designer you will work with the Store Planning team to help bring ideas and concepts to life with store designs across new stores, remodels, and special projects.
The ideal candidate will have experience creating retail, commercial, or residential designs and have proficiency in Enscape and Revit or CAD.
Job Overview & Responsibilities: Coordinates various projects with new and existing business concepts as it relates to Store Design & Development.
This would include total store design (décor finishes and layout), fixture design and development, new "department" concepts, graphics/signage design and implementation, as well as exterior storefront design.
Provides guidance and suggestions to resource, research, and spec new vendors as it relates to materials, trends, products and new technologies in the design field.
Creates and designs various new project/concepts for the Brands, as well as new retail concepts.
Is involved in many aspects of design as it relates to Store Development.
Selects colors, materials, and finishes to appropriately convey the design concept.
Partners with Store Design Manager on the selection and specification of fixtures and furniture.
Works with outside design firms to create new ideas and recommends decisions on design direction.
Creates preliminary space plans and renderings for new store concepts.
Supports Store Design Manager on coordinating presentations to different levels of Management.

Requirements for the Role: • Strong Interpersonal skills, presentation skills, ability to present to some levels of management.
• Knowledge of finishes/design materials
• Multi-task and time management skills
• Revit and/or AutoCAD, Enscape, perspective and rendering skills
• Photoshop/Illustrator/In Design
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• 4+ years of proven relevant experience, with a portfolio demonstrating previous work
• Previous retail or commercial experience a plus
