Role and Responsibilities:As the Jenni Kayne Store Manager, your primary responsibilities include the following:
Serve as leadership figure for the store, setting the tone for compelling and consistent customer experience and positive employee cultureAchieve successful store sales performance at or above sales plan expectations through maintaining excellent customer service standards, being forward thinking with business building initiatives, and developing relationships and partnerships within the communityEnsure store team is effectively communicating the Jenni Kayne brand to customers, demonstrating knowledge of both fashion and home components of the brand and encouraging customers to engage with us through Jenni Kayne Rewards and our social media outletsBe accountable to all areas of the business, communicating feedback in a productive manner and executing all company directives to drive sales resultsMaintain exceptional operational standards, namely immaculate attention to detail and inventory accuracyPartner with Senior Managers to coordinate in-shop events that drive attendance and sales revenueEvaluate and develop store associates through performance management and provide regular and clear feedback. Recognize strengths and coach opportunitiesAnticipate hiring needs and ensure recruitment of best profiles for store; manage all scheduling, time off and payroll for the storeProvide thorough training of team members and ensure seamless onboarding process for new associatesEnsure proper store opening and closing procedures are followedBe a mentor to your team and peers. Strive to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with all Jenni Kayne employeesQualifications and Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail store managementProven understanding of all facets of retail, including business development, visual merchandising and store operationsExperience executing small scale events and engaging a community around a local businessWillingness and availability to work during peak business periods - weekends, holidays, etc.Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skillsEntrepreneurial thinker, detail oriented, organized with a can-do attitudeKnowledge and experience with POS and Inventory Management systems, Microsoft Word and ExcelComfortable training, providing feedback and developing employeesMust be able to kneel, stoop, climb ladders, use stairs, reach lift and move heavy objects (30+ pounds or more) from time to time as requiredAdditional Notes:

The annual base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000. The base salary is determined by experience, education, skills, and location. In addition, this full-time position is eligible for the following company benefits:
