This position primarily supervises and directs the daily activities of Account Operations Coordinators.
The position also is responsible for maintaining positive relationship with Commercial Accounts customers, maximizing Recon opportunity, and assuring the quality of services provided.
The Account Operations Supervisor acts as a liaison between the auction and commercial accounts in regards to accuracy and quality of vehicle preparation.
This position is utilized at locations with consignment exceeding 300,000 vehicles per year only.
Supervise and direct the work of Account Operations staff by determining work procedures, preparing work schedules, expediting the workflow, assigning duties and examining work for accuracy and conformance to policies and procedures.
Review work volumes, plan and continuously monitor staffing levels to ensure efficiency, quality work product, and effective customer service; review departmental performance against key performance indicators and metrics and develop and execute strategies for improvement.
Supervise and coordinate the activities and the work flow of Account Operations staff for commercial accounts.
Establish and maintain a good working relationship with Commercial Account Representatives, Lot Operations Management, and Quadrant Coordinators.
Counsel and discipline employees, evaluate employee job performance, and conduct performance appraisals.
Ensure vehicles are approved and processed accurately, and prepared to the customer's standards in a timely manner, while meeting contractual service levels.
Schedule coordinators for review of sale for Commercial Accounts after completion of the pre-sale reconditioning.
Provide schedule of sale line-up to lot and recon managers for proper routing of vehicles, coordinating aged units first.
Verify that vehicle information is accurately recorded and vehicles are properly numbered for sale.
Walk and audit sale line with clients to ensure quality standards are met.
Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such.
Work in cooperation with safety leadership in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
Effectively leads the team at the location by setting an example in behavior, championing Cox/Manheim values and ensuring that all employees are treated with respect.
Enforce all company policies and procedures related to employee and customer conduct.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS Minimum High School Diploma/GED and 5 years' experience in a related field.
The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 3 years' experience in a related field; a master's degree and 1 year of experience; or a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience Requires strong communication, computer and collaboration skills Excellent skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization Preferred Experience in auction or automotive industry strongly preferred Degree in related discipline strongly desired
USD 53,200.00 - 79,800.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $53,200.00 - $79,800.00.
The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
