**Position Purpose**Under general supervision, AutoZone's Process Improvement Manager will perform moderate duties in researching, designing and/or developing methods and materials which will increase operation efficiency and the utilization of distribution facilities.**Primary Accountabilities**Review and measure DC performance in comparison to DC AutoZone Best Business Practices, this position supervises the execution of the analysis of times and movements of operational personnel.Make recommendations for improvements. Analyze DC quality control and inventory control processes and methods. Creates DB and reports for decision-making by the Operations and General Management of the DC regarding the improvement of QC and Inventories, to make inventory control more efficient, corrective and immediate control mode, reports are released every hour and In real time you can correct the operation, prediction models to measure the operation in the following weeks, all to be more efficient, and optimize the HC of both DC's.Develop tools to improve inventory slotting and labor planning in the DCs. Analyze the accumulated information and develop reports and technological solutions that allow monitoring the performance of all the processes of both DCs, (the super-user is the one who executes processes, sees improvements, generates ad-hoc reports)Work with IT personnel and outside vendors as necessary to Implement software solutions to productivity enhancements. This position is responsible for adapting and implementing improvements proposed by US, (Project manager for DCs).**Education & Experience**Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.Area of Study: Industrial Engineering or related disciplines, or relevant equivalent experienceYears of Experience: Two to three years.Type of Experience: In a distribution center or manufacturing environment (or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering)Special Certifications or Technical Skills: Labor Metrics Software and Engineered Standards preferred
