Required Education and Experience
•Licensure as RN in Minnesota or eligibility for same.
Baccalaureate degree required
•Minimum of one-year experience as circulating nurse, procedural care nurse, or completion of AORN Periop 101 coursework.
•Must have at least five years of healthcare experience, hospital experienced preferred.
•Minimum of one-year experience in a previous leadership or supervisory position.
•BLS and ACLS certification required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Exempt 80 hours per pay period and may require some flexibility.
Supervisory Responsibility
Provide Leadership to the Department which will include oversight/supervision to licensed and non-licensed personnel.
Must have knowledge of the Chain of Command and the facilities Emergency Disaster Preparedness processes with the ability to respond and or implement if the need arises.
