The Role:
The Systems Analyst will recognize, exemplify, and adhere to ICON's values which center around our commitment to People, Clients, and Performance. Specifically, they will provide system training and support for Whitesboro and Lenexa Bioanalytical Lab LIMS applications.
Provide support for application development projectsServe as a subject matter expert (SME) for assigned applications and have a good working knowledge of other ICON applications and their impact on assigned applicationsProvide timely, high quality support for system usersInterface with users to collect study setup requirementsComplete technical setup of studiesInterface with IT to evaluate, resolve, and communicate system-related issues impacting users and escalate to the Systems Manager and Support Manager, as applicableEscalate application issues with a perceived high user impact to the Systems Manager and Support ManagerCapture user feedback on system applications and/or associated operational processes and provide input to Systems Manager. Actively participate in application user groupsProactively engage system users in discussion of system issues and provide training, or facilitate the development of training materials, under the direction of the Systems ManagerDemonstrate increased understanding of the business' needs and priorities by working in conjunction with the application owner in troubleshooting issues, scheduling system changes, and coordinating between IT and the business to provide input related to requests for new system features/functionalityDemonstrate increased proficiency with assigned applications by troubleshooting more complicated issues and assisting in application development activitiesProactively review system data and identify any training needs or system issuesTake part in and where necessary coordinate the writing and review of application training materialParticipate in system testing by writing, reviewing, and executing test scriptsActively participate in training and/or mentoring junior personnel on standard day-to-day activitiesA willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends when operational requirements dictateTo be successful in the role, you will need: Associate's degree or higher in a relevant field of study5 years of systems experienceBenefits of Working in ICON:
