Systems Engineer

As a Systems Engineer at SRCTec LLC, you will play an integral role in the configuration, production, test, and sustainment for radar, CUAS, and electronic warfare systems. You will work closely with experienced engineers and manufacturing professionals to support manufacturability and sustainment for SRCTec products. You will maintain system configurations, support transition from development to production, establish production test procedures, monitor component obsolescence, and troubleshoot problems that are encountered during production. You will collaborate with diverse, cross-functional teams of hardware, software, and manufacturing engineers and stay at the cutting-edge of electronics manufacturing.
What You'll Do Define system configurations, including Bills of Materials and system drawingsDevelop system and subsystem test proceduresParticipate in Configuration Control Boards to evaluate product changes for manufacturability and sustainabilityEvaluate trade studies, system architectures, algorithms, system requirements, and design specifications to improve product and process accuracy, repeatability, and yieldInvestigate and resolve system faults discovered during transition to and during productionPerform system simulations, modeling, and data analysis (via MATLAB and/or Python) to identify product and process improvement opportunitiesMonitor and resolve obsolete components issuesKeep up-to-date with the latest systems engineering technologies and toolsWhat You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related fieldThree years of experience in systems engineering or related experience with RF and electronic systemsExperience with systems engineering, configuration management, and product lifecycle management toolsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment, with excellent written and verbal communication skillsSome travel (10%) may be required to provide support for field tests, demonstrations, and customer meetingsWhat Sets Us Apart? Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $80,477 - $95,750 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
