Your Associate position will begin with onboarding and technical training. In addition, you will be pared with a mentor to connect with and receive feedback to help you develop professionally.
This position will give you the opportunity to:
Prepare basic to complex personal and business tax returns Prepare basic to complex amended returns, personal tax projections, property tax refunds, employee benefit plan returns, carry-back returns, and payroll tax returns Foundational understanding of the tax law Working knowledge of various tax programs Begin studying for CPA exam Work directly with firm partners, managers, directors, and senior accountants Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting At least 1 year experience in accounting; prefer tax experience Ability and motivated about working overtime as needed Strong attention to detail Ability to communicate effectively both in written and verbal capacities Strong interpersonal skills and team-oriented Authorized to work in the United States Olsen Thielen is an Equal Opportunity Employer
