Kaufman Rossin is seeking a Tax Controversy Senior to join our dynamic team of Tax Controversy professionals in Boca Raton:
Assist with IRS examinations Prepare responses to IRS penalty notices Assist with IRS collection matters Perform legal research Review IRS account transcripts and reconcile client accounts Proactively identify client needs Achieve team and individual budget and performance objectives Maintain expert technical standards Lead by example: demonstrate a positive, team-player attitude and professional appearance Seek leadership roles in professional, business, or community organizations Requirements What Skills You'll Bring: 3+ years of experience with tax and/or legal research projects with a focus in tax controversy Ideal candidates will have experience working for the IRS or within a public accounting firm on tax controversy matters CPA, EA, or JD LL.M Experience juggling multiple projects simultaneously How You'll Stand Out: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work overtime during peak times of the year Local to South Florida Benefits We embrace authenticity.
