Responsibilities
• Perform technical tax review and approval of all tax returns• Manage and delegate tax research and tax planning projects• Participate in client meetings and tax planning efforts• Act as a resource for tax preparers and staff on tax issues• Communicate important tax developments to internal staff and clients• Manage, train, and coach staff• Ensure efficient, accurate, and timely delivery of tax returns• Maintain knowledge of general economic and political trends• Market firm services to existing and potential clients• Meet business development goals
Requirements
• B.A./B.S. Degree in Accounting• 4-6 years of tax experience• CPA certification; MBT is a plus but not required• Experience and skills in coaching and mentoring staff• Strong technical tax consulting skills• Excellent communication (oral and written) skills• Demonstrated marketing and business development skills
