ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As a Software Test Technician for Tactical Control Systems, you'll be a member a cross functional team responsible for supporting design and maintaining submarine combat system network architecture to support our continued commitment of providing the US and Royal Australian Navies the highest quality software.
We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: Served in the US Navy's Submarine Force as an FTOW and received an honorable discharge, understanding of reader-working procedural compliance, ability to be a self starter.

Support the submarine watch section as FTOW during ship's deployment
Experience with AN/BYG-1 TI18 APB19 or later Combat Control System
Experience supporting your division's Work Center Supervisor role
Experience in the SAFe Agile Process Framework

While on-site, you will be a part of the Fair Lakes location.
Please note, the Fair Lakes building will be transitioned to Manassas, VA by April 2025.
Target salary range: USD $78,032.60/Yr.
- USD $84,433.70/Yr.
This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.).

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience).
Requires an additional 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
