Teacher's Aide Location: 500 E. 16th St. Monahans, Tx. 79756
Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday 7:15AM – 5:30PM
Attire: Clean jeans (No holes)
Tennis Shoes (No crocs or sandals)
T-shirts (Clean, no holes, appropriate imagery, and language)
GENERAL:
Works with teachers to promote the educational and social development of the children enrolled in the learning center.
GENERAL DUTIES: Assist teachers with daily class management and activities.Assist with crafts and extracurricular activities.Assist teachers with outdoor play and class management.Performs general housekeeping tasks. Learns effective child communication and safety skills.Assists teachers and children during breakfast, lunch, and snacks.Performs other duties necessary to the smooth functioning of the facility as assigned by the Education Coordinator or the Childcare Director HEALTH AND SAFETY: Maintains an orderly physical environment conducive to optimal growth and development with special regard to health and safety. Reports any medical problems and accidents to other staff and to the parents. Knows and follows proper Handwashing procedures. Observes the classroom, classroom supply areas, playground area and equipment for hazards and keeps the areas neat and sanitary. REQUIREMENTS: Drug Test as required. Submit to criminal history checks and fingerprinting.Must be at least 18 years of age or older.Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
