Premier Enterprise Solutions is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating clear and concise documentation that explains complex technical information in a user-friendly manner. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts, developers, configuration managers, and project managers to gather information and ensure accuracy in technical documentation.
Responsibilities: Write and edit technical documentation including user manuals, guides, API documentation, and specifications.Work closely with technical staff to ensure accuracy, clarity, and usability of documentation.Organize and structure content for readability and ease of use.Research, gather, and analyze technical and engineering information from various sources.Revise and update documentation as new issues arise or changes to systems occur.Test documentation against software to ensure accuracy and completeness.Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and product managers.Maintain documentation standards and best practices.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or related field.A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Technical Writer or similar role.Excellent writing and editing skills with a strong attention to detail.Proficiency in document formatting and publishing tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat).Familiarity with version control systems and documentation management tools (e.g., Git, Confluence).Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.Premier Enterprise Solutions offers full-time employees a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, health insurance, life insurance, military leave, training, tuition reimbursement, a wellness program, short- and long-term disability, 401(k) retirement plan with company matches/immediate vesting, commuter benefits, and more.
