Technical Administrative Assistant

A petrochemical plant in Baytown, TX is seeking a Technical Project Admin Assistant to join their team.
This person will initially support both the Technical and Document Controls teams, and then will primarily focus on supporting the Technical team and will eventually report into the Technical Manager.
This individual will be responsible for procuring supply orders as they come, laminating/printing requests, coordinating schedules and meetings with vendors, attending staff meetings to scribe as required, lunch ordering/catering, handling Technical Leaderships schedules as needed to set up meetings, assisting the document control group as required, company vehicle reservations, assisting Senior Admin as needed, etc.
This individual will also be responsible for conference room setup for department meetings as needed, onboarding assistance for Technical leaders.
They will also be responsible for creating PowerPoint decks and assisting with the needs of the groups as they arise.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience in either Oil & Gas or Petrochemical/Chemical industry

3+ years of project admin or admin assistant experience

Experience coordinating, hosting, and scribing meetings, creating PowerPoint decks, etc.


Preferred to come from petrochemical

Experience working with multiple departments and prioritizing tasks
