Technical Project Coordinator

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Technical Project Coordinator to join a large healthcare customer in Houston, TX.
The ideal candidate will excel in planning, tracking workstreams, and escalating risks, with a foundational understanding of technical concepts.
While not technical subject matter experts, this individual will possess enough technical knowledge to effectively manage projects and coordinate with technical teams.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and manage the migration of 200+ applications from one datacenter to another, including redesigning and rearchitecting applications to enhance business continuity.Track progress of multiple workstreams, ensuring that tasks are assigned, completed, and documented in a timely manner.
Oversee 5 to 10 workstreams, ensuring consistent progress reporting, issue tracking, and next steps identificationCommunicate timelines, task updates, and key deliverables to stakeholders and technical teams.Identify potential project risks and issues that could impact timelines or deliverables.Escalate risks and critical issues to senior management or relevant teams when necessary, providing clear documentation and recommendations.Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment of project goals.Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including timelines, reports, and risk assessments.Provide regular updates on project progress, deliverables, and risk mitigation strategies to project leadership.Collaborate with various teams across the healthcare system, including technical teams, clinical staff, IT departments, and management.Understand the basics of technical concepts to effectively communicate with technical teams and facilitate problem-solving.Assist in translating technical requirements into actionable plans for non-technical stakeholders.Monitor technical implementations at a high level to ensure they align with project goals. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in intro to mid-level project management, particularly in technical environments.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams concurrently.Experience with data center technologies (compute and virtualization, storage, networking) and experience managing small projects in this domain.Familiarity with project tracking tools such as Excel, MS Project, and ServiceNow.Ability to facilitate planning conversations and resolve issues within small teams.Proficiency in standard administrative software, including project tracking and pivot tables in Excel.Willingness to learn and use our Business Continuity tool, BCIC.Strong written and verbal communication skills.
