Raye IT Consulting is looking for an exceptional and seasoned IT Project Manager to support a U.S. Government agency. This individual will perform agile project management activities for high profile programs and projects, working with cross-functional IT teams and product owners to deliver business solutions; and to provide expert guidance and expertise to self-organizing teams in the areas of agile/iterative planning, agile execution techniques, and cross-team coordination.
Leads projects that involve the successful management of teams to analyze, design, integration, testing, documenting, converting, extending, and implementing automated information and/or telecommunications systems.
Performs day-to-day management of overall support operations, possibly involving multiple projects and groups of personnel at multiple locations.Organizes, directs, and coordinates the planning and production of all contract support activities.Establishes and alters (as necessary) corporate management structure to direct effective contract support activities.Performs agile project management activities including planning, execution, tracking, and reporting.Coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects.Ensures that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.Provides support for the coordination, preparation, and reporting of project statuses on a routine basis.Develops and implements summary project report structures and project success metrics.Assists in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.Measures performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques and reports and escalates to management as needed.Manages the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders and performs risk management to minimize potential risks.Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation.Meets with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.Tracks project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.Meets budgetary objectives and adjusts project constraints based on financial analysis.Develops comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.Required Skills: Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI-ACP or SAFe Certification.8+ years of proven working experience in project management.Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions.Proficient in Azure DevOps or Project Management tools.Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.Benefits at-a-glance: 401(k).401(k) matching.Disability insurance.Flexible spending account.Health insurance.Life insurance.Paid time off.Schedule: Monday to Friday.
