JOB TITLE: Technical Sales Consultant
JOB DESCRIPTION:
International desktop / scara robots, servo press company is looking for a Technical Sales Consultant.
•Responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process and contribute to company sales.
• Working in conjunction with the Engineering team
• Articulate technology and product positioning to customers.
Duties and Responsibilities / (%) of time spentProducts Sales for new and existing customers / distributors and end users : 50%Interface between parent company, new and existing customers, distributors and end users, in order to assure compliance and continued relationship with customers or to win new business by developing solutions to existing products : 30%Reporting on sales / technical activities : 10%Training, trade shows and sales calls : 10%Assistance at end of month with shipping, receiving, inventory / Cleaning up inside office. REQUIREMENTS:
•Must be able to identify all technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process and after sales support and must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle
•Industrial sales experience is preferred, but not required.
Equipment, Machinery, or similar knowledge preferred.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
• Comprehensive understanding of the products, desktop / scara robots, servo press and the related products.
• Working understanding of electronics and factory automation.
• Skill in communications with customers verbally over the telephone or writing to troubleshoot the technical issues and sometime in person.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
• Familiarity with ACT! Database and QuickBooks Software.
