Technical Support Specialist




Job Overview:


This position involves reimaging computers with the latest Windows or MacOS software.
Candidates must have prior Windows Imaging experience.
You will be required to use your personal vehicle to travel between various local sites, with mileage reimbursed.
Reliable personal transportation is necessary as company vehicles are not provided.
This is a customer-facing role, requiring strong interpersonal skills.


Primary Responsibilities:


Desktop Support: Provide daily support for desktops, including operating system updates, software installations, maintenance, and hardware issues.


Ticket Management: Respond to and resolve assigned tickets, escalating issues to appropriate support teams when necessary.


Customer Service: Serve as the first point of contact for all desktop-related support inquiries and issues.


Documentation: Create and maintain support documentation for Tier 1 Service Desk personnel.


Collaboration: Work with higher-level technical teams on system planning, upgrades, integrations, and issue resolution.


Task Management: Effectively prioritize tasks to meet customer needs and demands.


Project Support: Assist with projects related to desktop support, including system upgrades, integrations, and administration.


Required Skills and Qualifications:


Experience supporting standard office productivity applications and computing platforms in an enterprise environment.


Strong customer service skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.


Ability to manage and prioritize workload efficiently in response to customer demands.


Familiarity with project tasks such as system upgrades and integration.


Degree in a relevant field and experience in desktop support within an enterprise environment is preferred.
