Northwestern University is seeking a temporary Full-time Administrative Assistant 4 for the Chicago campus.
Temporary Job Description:
Coordinates a broad variety of administrative processes & activities such as database, budget, & HR - maintenance & reporting; communications including website design; & management of supervisor(s) &/or dept's multiple calendars & events.
Reviews administrative work procedures, policies & operational methods; identifies & documents as applicable: Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); best practices; appropriate filing & audit mechanisms; financial & performance metrics reporting; & regulatory & compliance systems.
This position supports senior leadership in the Feinberg Deans' Office.
Qualifications Required:
A high school diploma or its equivalent along with 5 years of administrative support experience is required; College Degree preferred
Previous experience working with senior leadership
Previous academic institutional experience
Articulate and well-spoken to speak to high profile patients and senior leadership
Ability to handle stress and multi-task
Advanced knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and database software programs is required.
Software Required:
MS Office suite 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
