Northwestern University is seeking a temporary Program Assistant 3 Temporary Job Description: Job Summary:
The Program Assistant for the Cook Family Writing Program provides a variety of clerical & administrative support which may include managing department websites; drafting & typing letters, reports, charts, graphs, etc., using word processing, spreadsheet, database, &/or presentation software; basic bookkeeping.
Additionally, the PA coordinates administrative processes and prioritizes, directs, and responds to business matters involving administrative functions associated with education, research, and/or operations.
The PA creates and maintains associated documents, spreadsheets, databases, meetings, special events, etc.
and alerts supervisor of critical issues and upcoming events.
Intermediate knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and database software programs is required.
Prior experience with website design &/or administration and the ability to troubleshoot basic technology problems is preferred.
