Temporary Senior Coordinator, Corporate PartnershipsReporting to the Senior Director of Corporate Partnerships, the Temporary Senior Coordinator of Corporate Partnerships is an outstanding opportunity for an entry-level professional to serve an important role at the Academy, including the museum. You will maximize the effectiveness of the Corporate Partnerships team by providing administrative support as well as project assistance and coordination.
This is a full-time, 3–6-month temporary position.
Duties and Responsibilities: Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments, maintaining files, tracking deadlines, submitting expense reports, processing invoices, etc.Prepare initial drafts of decks, proposals, and letter agreements utilizing existing templates.Handle tour and meeting scheduling/preparations and greet visitors upon arrival.Coordinate activities and resources for the Corporate Partnerships team, communicating with multiple internal departments.Conduct corporate prospect and industry research.Assist with event planning and activation/deliverables related to Corporate Partnerships and Corporate Membership.Help with data entry relating to corporate prospects and partners.Send out mailings, packages, FedEx, etc.Perform other duties as assigned, including fundraising support and special event support.Qualifications and Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent certificate of completion required. A college degree preferred.Minimum 1 year of direct experience in Institutional Giving, Marketing, Corporate Partnerships, or Business Development OR minimum 2 years in an administrative role in an office setting.Intermediate working proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).Understanding of theory and application in using a relational database.Knowledge of fundraising principles, museum operations, graphic design, and/or film a plus.Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills as well as the ability to work with numerous and diverse populations. Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording, tracking, and issuing information.Outstanding organizational skills including self-management of duties and ability to set priorities. Must be proactive and flexible with the ability to anticipate needs.Ability to discern relevant facts in problem-solving.Ability to work extended hours, early mornings, nights, and weekends as necessary.A commitment to diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion.If hired, we require all employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19, unless a medical or religious accommodation is needed as determined on a case-by-case basis. The expected salary for this role is $21 per hour.
