This position requires a full range of account management activities associated with developing, expanding, and servicing production facilities in the Southeast Wisconsin area.
The account base has significant competitive potential in many industries, including precision and rough grinding markets and managing several large industrial distribution relationships.
Collaboration with our distributor partners must be a focus for success in this territory.
This includes planning, joint sales calls, and hands-on training.
Territory accounts can be demanding and require strategic, focused planning and execution.
The candidate must be as comfortable working with a machine operator and testing an abrasive product as they are presenting a growth plan to a large multi-national corporation and/or a company president.
This position requires a highly motivated, persistent, creative, personable, and team player who can succeed with limited direction.
Interested candidates should have 3-5 years of selling experience.
This territory requires adept management of distribution.
National distributors and several large regional distributors are well represented in this territory.
A thorough understanding of needs and value-based selling is critical, as is a solid background in Conventional Bonded, Superabrasives, Dressing Systems and Coated Abrasives.
This is truly a territory where it is something new every day so being able to prioritize, adapt, and succeed are key traits we are seeking.
A bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience is required.
Proficiency in needs-based selling, Microsoft Office, Salesforce, web applications, contact management, and other forms of data analysis is necessary.
